This deck was a replacement for an existing deck that was made of plywood and had rotted out. The house was being prepared to be put on the market so the owner wanted to go with a low cost deck. Pressure treated wood decks are the most economical so we rebuilt the deck with PT in the same dimensions as the original and brought everything up to code. The result is a nice deck that should last at least twenty years if properly maintained.
