This deck originally had 2×4 decking that was nailed down. It was creaky and aging so the customer wanted to replace the decking. We went with 2×6 cedar decking which we screwed down for a more solid surface and a more solid appearance. We also made repairs to the deck where his dog had chewed on it and re-stained the entire thing to match the house trim. The end result was a much newer looking and more solid deck.
