This deck cover was built with shade in mind. The customer wanted to let some light through but not so much that it would be hot in the sun. We added extra 1×4 cross members to give extra shade and to add a nice aesthetic touch. We also wrapped the posts and beam with cedar and stained the entire thing to make it look really nice. The customer was very pleased with the final result!
